A night of Broadway-style fun to help a nonprofit continue providing essential support services to the homeless, hungry, and abused

Clearwater, FL — Hope Villages of America (HVA) will host its seventh annual Gala to raise funds for those in need in the Tampa Bay area. The Villains of Broadway Gala promises to be a night of wickedly good fun celebrating the generous and compassionate supporters who provide help and hope to nearly 150,000 community members in need every year.

“Through the immense generosity of our dedicated supporters, we continue making a significant difference in the lives of thousands of deserving individuals and families in our community through distributing food and providing housing and abuse services,” said Hope Villages’ President and CEO, Nick DiCeglie. “We promise to make this a night to remember as we work to celebrate the good we have done and fuel our mission to create a brighter future for all.”

Hope Villages of America will host the Gala at Banquet Masters located at 13355 49th Street North, Clearwater, FL, on Thursday, September 14th. The evening will begin at 7 p.m. Attendees will be dressed up as Broadway’s favorite villains, and the event will consist of a silent and live auction, live performances, dinner, best-dressed contest and remarks from Hope Villages’ President and CEO.

“In addition to a multitude of services, we distribute more than 6 million pounds of food annually to feed the hungry, and The Haven provides an Outreach Center and an Emergency Safe House for victims of domestic abuse,” DeCeglie explained. “None of these free and confidential services would be possible without the support of our sponsors and the community.”

The 2023 Gala is proudly presented by Crown Automotive Charities — Hawkins Family Foundation. The Ruth and J.O. Stone Foundation joyfully serves as the second lead sponsor. In total, Hope Villages of America has 23 sponsors. Registration closes Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 11:59 pm.
